Silsurf® Di-2012 is a 100% active silicone polyether copolymer with terminal polyether functional groups. It is transparent to cloudy liquid and can be dispersed in water.
Silsurf® Di-2012 has hydroxyl functional groups and can react with epoxides, isocyanates and esters for modification of polymerization systems. Can be used in many fields, including: personal care, household products, textiles, leather industry. In addition, it can also be used for foaming of most alcohols, such as ethanol and isopropanol, so as to be used in foaming hand sanitizer.
