Question:dispersantWhat problems can be solved?

Question:dispersantWhat problems can be solved?

Answer:In fact, dispersant refers to a surfactant that can quickly wet the surface of solid particles and raise the energy barrier between solid particles to a sufficiently high level. It is widely used in industries such as dyes, pigments, cement, papermaking, ceramics, etc.

There are many types of dispersants, and according to the different dispersion media, dispersants can be divided into dispersants used in aqueous media and dispersants used in non-aqueous media, with the former including anionic, nonionic, and other types. There is a type of polymer dispersant in dispersants called hyperdispersants, which was first developed to solve the dispersion problem of pigment particles in organic media.

Dispersants can reduce the viscosity of natural rubber and synthetic rubber, manifested by a decrease in Mooney viscosity value, thereby improving the flow characteristics of the rubber material, reducing mixing time and energy consumption, and accelerating the dispersion of fillers and carbon black. Dispersants have not been used for a long time in China, mainly in tire rubber, and their applications in other fields still need to be developed.

Domestic dispersant products are gradually being developed, and existing products are approaching foreign brands in terms of performance while having price advantages. The main function of dispersants in tire rubber is to reduce the Mooney viscosity of the mixed rubber, make the powder evenly dispersed, improve the affinity between various rubber materials, enhance the processing performance of the rubber materials, stabilize the quality between batches, and improve the appearance and cross-sectional quality of the products.
