Pipelines, ships, and steel bars are exposed to humid and corrosive environments for a long time. Silane coupling agents can effectively enhance the anti-corrosion performance of powder coatings: on the one hand, it can better bond the pigments, fillers, and resins inside the coating, improving the corrosion resistance of the coating; On the other hand, it seals the interface between the coating and the substrate through coupling, preventing water molecules from migrating and penetrating along the interface, and reducing the peeling and electrochemical erosion of the coating by water molecules.
