Hybridization of organic and inorganic compounds can integrate the excellent properties of both materials, making it an important method for material modification. Currently, there is widespread attention paid to the hybridization of polymer organic compounds and silicon compounds. This process also brings benefits such as low or zero VOC emissions, which is beneficial for environmental protection and energy conservation. It has broad prospects in coatings, adhesives, textiles, and other fields.

The hybrid process of organic and inorganic materials includes:

1. Simple mixing. The operation is simple, but the effect is not very satisfactory.

2. Sol gel method. According to the different precursors of the reaction, it can be divided into several categories, such as the formation of inorganic phase networks in the presence of organic polymers; Organic monomer polymerization in the presence of inorganic phase; Organic and inorganic phases simultaneously form interpenetrating networks. This type of process is more complex, but the effect is better.

3. The composite lotion with core-shell structure is prepared by ordinary lotion polymerization with SiO2 particles formed by colloid as the core, which is an extension of core-shell polymerization process.

4. Bycoupling agentThe process of combining silica sol with lotion is simple and practical, and needs to be deepened and improved at present. This article selects surface treatment agents——silane coupling agent Preparation of organic-inorganic hybrid coatings with simple process, mild reaction conditions, and easy control. A systematic process condition experiment was conducted, and by changing the process parameters, coating performance cutting can be achieved.

The researchers hybridized the silane coupling agent, acrylic acid lotion and silica sol, and added appropriate additives to prepare an organic-inorganic composite coating. The physical, chemical properties and chemical stability of the composite coating are better than those of pure acrylic lotion and simple lotion blended with silica sol/polyacrylate. The effects of coupling agent dosage, optimal composite ratio, and additives were tested.

The organic-inorganic hybrid polymer composite lotion coating was prepared by using silane coupling agent through a simple process. Its stability and physical and chemical properties of the coating film are better than those of simple blend lotion and single acrylic lotion.

The main components of the composite coating: silane coupling agent 0.1% ~ 0.2%, silica sol 11% ~ 20%, acrylic lotion 75% ~ 90%, deionized water and some additives.
