Arkema CRAYVALLAC SUPERIt is best to add it to a high-speed disperser and use it for activation. Usually added together with resin during the grinding and filling stage. According to the characteristics of different coating systems, maintaining a temperature of 50-60 ℃ during high-speed dispersion can ensure the full activation of CRAYVALLAC SUPER. After reaching the activation temperature, high-speed dispersion is still required for 15-30 minutes.
The high-speed disperser is the most ideal dispersing equipment because it can provide activated ArkemaThe shear force and temperature required for SUPER to fully activate CRAYVALLAC SUPER. The activation process is a process of transforming CRAYVALLAC SUPER from a powder state into a fibrous network structure with interactions. It is precisely this network structure that ultimately endows the system with shear thinning properties. This shear thinning characteristic provides the ability to maintain high viscosity under low shear conditions, thereby achieving excellent anti settling performance; During construction, that is, under high shear conditions, the viscosity of the system will decrease. The ultimate result is that the system has good anti sinking properties and is easy to construct.
After the construction is completed, the system returns to a low shear state, and the network structure in the system is re formed. The viscosity of the system gradually recovers over time. The process of gradually recovering viscosity over time is called "thixotropy", which enables the system to achieve good leveling and anti sagging performance after viscosity recovery.
