Comparative advantages of hyperdispersants and dispersants

Super dispersants are a new and efficient type of polymer based dispersant, which overcome the limitations of traditional dispersants in terms of molecular structure. Super dispersant, also known as polymer dispersant, is an efficient polymer dispersant with a molecular weight between 1000 and 10000.

It has the following advantages compared to traditional surface treatment agents and dispersants:

1. Super dispersants use anchoring groups instead of hydrophilic groups on surface modifiers, resulting in irreversible adsorption and difficult desorption;

2. Replacing the lipophilic groups on surface modifiers with polymer solvation chains, with adjustable chain length, can effectively stabilize the space;

3. It can form extremely weak and easily mobile micelles, which can quickly move towards the surface of particles and provide wetting protection. So the advantages of super dispersants compared to dispersants are more obvious, but opinions vary. Using super dispersants does not necessarily mean they are better than dispersants. Different products require different additives. Compared to dispersants, super dispersants have a polymer structure, higher prices, higher technical barriers, and different application levels.
