The adhesion of addition molded liquid silicone rubber is poor. When used as a material for potting, coating, and injection molding of inserts, in order to improve the adhesion with the contact substrate, it is usually necessary to pre coat the substrate or add a thickening agent. Due to the diversity of contact substrates and the continuous improvement of adhesion requirements, the development of corresponding primer and adhesive additive liquid silicone rubber new varieties has always been a research hotspot in this field.


Organosilicon tackifiers can improve the adhesion of silicone rubber to materials such as PET, PBT, PI, etc., without affecting the mechanical properties of silicone products. It does not affect the transparency of silicone, and can make both components A and B of LED packaging silicone clear and transparent. After adding it, it will not become cloudy (foggy) like some thickeners in the market, which affects the transparency and light transmittance. It has no effect on the system, does not affect viscosity, does not affect the catalyst, and does not generate a large amount of bubbles during solidification
During use, contact with metal compounds containing nitrogen, phosphorus, sulfur, polyethylene, peroxides, lead, tin, cadmium, etc. is strictly prohibited to avoid incomplete curing caused by poisoning of silicone rubber catalysts.
