Evonik's long history in China can be traced back to 1933
Evonik established its first office in Shanghai as early as 1933. At present, Winco has 11 production bases and approximately 2700 employees in China.
Evonik regards China as one of the driving forces behind global economic development and is constantly striving to achieve sustained business growth. Evonik has launched cross business department projects targeting multiple major markets, such as automotive, construction, electronics, and lighting. To ensure the sustained and steady growth of the company in the local area, we are also carrying out multiple strategic investment projects. In addition to investing in production facilities, Winco enhances its research and development capabilities in China by strengthening local innovation activities.
Talent is the most important asset for us to achieve sustainable growth strategy. We continuously cultivate high-quality local managers to hold important positions in the company and provide them with career development opportunities within the group.
