Release agent is a chemical additive applied to molds to prevent adhesion between molded products and molds. In the production process of molded products, sometimes the reinforcing agents needed may seep out onto the interface, and in this case, release agents need to be used to solve the problem. Applying release agent on the surface of the mold can not only make the product easy to detach from the mold, smooth and clean, but also improve the qualification rate of the product, reduce waste, and effectively control production costs.

 A qualified release agent should have a high tensile strength, so that it can have greater chemical resistance and wear resistance when in contact with the molded resin. Release agents should also have heat resistance and stress resistance properties, so that they are not dissolved when in contact with the chemical composition of different resins. External release agent is directly applied to the mold, forming a release film on the surface of the mold to allow the molded product to release. When choosing a release agent, it is important to ensure that its performance is stable. If it is unstable, it will directly affect the secondary processing of molded products!
