Tyzor® 726 is an organic alkoxy titanate chelate with 100% active ingredients, containing bis (ethyl acetoacetate) and bis (alkoxy) titanium. Tyzor® 726 will react with water to form the corresponding alcohol (isopropanol), ethyl ethyl acetate, reactive titanium hydroxide or titanium dioxide.
Tyzor® 726 is more reactive to water than Tyzor® AA and Tyzor® TE, but not as good as Tyzor® TPT.
Tyzor® 726 can react with R-OH, M-OH, R-COOH and other functional groups in polymers, inorganics, and metals at low temperatures. Acts as a polymer crosslinking agent, coating, and adhesion promoter. Tyzor® 726 is particularly suitable as a curing agent in moisture-curing silicone resins. The reaction can be promoted by heating above 60 ° C. Tyzor® 726 can be used as a catalyst for transesterification, esterification, addition, polymerization, alkylation with silicon, etc.
