Tyzor®212 (triethanolamine zirconium complex (water-based / oily))
Tyzor® 212 reacts with water to hydrolyze to form zirconium hydroxy chelate. The chelate is stable in water for a long time. Pro-chelates or hydrolyzed chelates can form cross-links with many organic polymer materials and the -OH or -COOH groups of carbohydrates (such as cellulose, starch, guar) form. The product can also be used as a bonding aid on hydroxyl functionalized surfaces through a similar mechanism.
