·Reaction catalyst:
 Tyzor ® NBZ n-butyl zirconate is an effective catalyst in esterification, ester exchange, condensation, and addition reactions. The effect is to moderate the reaction rate, achieve high yield, be easy to knead, have low toxicity, and be a catalyst with low concentration.

 
 ·Paint:
 Available Tyzor ® NBZ n-butyl zirconate is used to treat glass, metals, fillers, pigments, and plastics to increase surface hardness, promote adhesion, enhance coloring effect, reflect heat and light, rainbow color, corrosion resistance, and scratch resistance.

 
 ·Paint additives:
 Tyzor ® NBZ n-butyl zirconate can be used as a paint additive to crosslink with - OH and - CCOOH functional polymers or adhesives, promote adhesion, or as an adhesive itself.
 
 ·Zirconia pigments and films:
 Micro or nano zirconia pigments can be obtained from Tyzor ® Formed in NBZ n-butyl zirconate. It can also be used to produce polymeric zirconia surface films through pyrolysis or hydrolysis processes.

        Tyzor ® NBZ n-butyl zirconate is typically formulated with other ingredients for catalytic, crosslinking, or coating applications. Zirconium esters are usually added as the final ingredient to prevent unnecessary pre reactions with water or other components. For applications that promote adhesion or surface modification, Tyzor ® NBZ n-butyl zirconate can be used as a primer from diluted solutions.
 
 In coating applications, thin layers of polymeric zirconia may be formed through heat treatment or hydrolysis processes.
 
 In the sol - For gel application, fully or partially hydrolyzed Tyzor ® NBZ n-butyl zirconate is usually combined with other metal alkoxides by using a sol - The gel treatment enables the metal oxidation system to act as an adhesive or coating.
