Dynasylan ® SIVO214 patented amino silane is developed and produced by Evonik Degussa AG, and is a reactive amino silane. Its reactivity enables the combination of inorganic materials (such as glass, metal, fillers) and organic polymers (such as thermosetting plastics, thermoplastic plastics, and elastomers). This feature allows this product to be used as a bonding agent or surface modifier.
 
 Dynasylan ® SIVO214 patented aminosilane appears colorless or pale yellow with a slight ammonia odor and is soluble in alcohol, aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbons.

 Dynasylan ® SIVO214 patented aminosilane is an ethoxysilane containing primary and secondary amino groups.
 
 In the presence of water, the ethoxy group of Dynasylan ® SIVO214 patented amino silane hydrolyzes to form silanol groups that can be bound to various inorganic materials. The recommended dosage for substrate pretreatment is 0.5-2wt%. If chemical modification treatment is to be carried out by reacting with suitable functional monomers or polymers, such as those containing isocyanate groups, the recommended usage amount is 1-5 wt%.
