Dynasylan ® SIVO214 patented amino silane is developed and produced by Evonik Degussa AG, and is a reactive amino silane. Its reactivity enables the combination of inorganic materials (such as glass, metal, fillers) and organic polymers (such as thermosetting plastics, thermoplastic plastics, and elastomers). This feature allows this product to be used as a bonding agent or surface modifier.
 
 Dynasylan ® SIVO214 patented aminosilane appears colorless or pale yellow with a slight ammonia odor and is soluble in alcohol, aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbons.
 
 Dynasylan ® SIVO214 patented amino silane functionality:


 Dynasylan ® SIVO214 patented aminosilane is an ethoxysilane containing primary and secondary amino groups.
 
 In the presence of water, the ethoxy group of Dynasylan ® SIVO214 patented amino silane hydrolyzes to form silanol groups that can be bound to various inorganic materials. And Dynasylan ®  The amino groups of SIVO214's organic phase can react with suitable polymers. In a molecule, it contains 6 hydrolyzable substituents. Therefore, Dynasylan ® SIVO214 is particularly suitable for forming highly cross-linked network structures between inorganic and organic interfaces.


 The hydrolysis of Dynasylan ® SIVO 214 patented aminosilane in water is catalyzed by an acid (such as formic acid or acetic acid, adjusted to pH 3). In order to enable Dynasylan ®  SIVO214 patented amino silane is soluble in organic solvents and should be added with 2-4% water (based on Dynasylan) ®  The quality of SIVO214 patented amino silane.  Specifically, the secondary amino groups of Dynasylan ® SIVO214 patented aminosilane react slower compared to other silanes with primary amino groups. Its main advantage is that when silane is used in HFFR polymer systems, it can achieve better dispersion and promote the bonding between powder and polymer. It exhibits excellent performance in powder silanization treatment and metal surface anti-corrosion treatment. In casting resin, it can better bond resin and quartz sand. Especially suitable for isocyanate systems used in the curing of phenolic resins.
 
 Dynasylan ® SIVO214 patented aminosilane can also be used in water-based acrylic and water-based polyurethane systems to enhance glass fibers.

The reactivity of Dynasylan ® SIVO 214 enables it to combine inorganic materials (such as glass, metal, fillers) with organic polymers (such as thermosetting plastics, thermoplastic plastics, and elastomers). The main uses include: as a component of wetting agents for glass fibers and electronic fabrics, for metal pretreatment, as an additive for casting resins such as phenolic resins, furan and melamine resins, as a chemical modifier or additive for adhesives and sealants, as a pre-treatment agent for mineral filled polymer systems or fillers and pigments in HFFR, and as a primer or additive to improve the adhesion of coatings or paints to substrates.

 Dynasylan ® SIVO214 patented amino silane can be used as a primer for pre-treatment of substrates (inorganic fibers or fillers). When used, the product can be added as a liquid wetting agent or a component of the solution to the treatment solution, or as an additive to the polymer system. The recommended dosage for substrate pretreatment is 0.5-2wt%. If chemical modification treatment is to be carried out by reacting with suitable functional monomers or polymers, such as those containing isocyanate groups, the recommended usage amount is 1-5 wt%.
