Dynasylan ® 1505 3-aminopropylmethyldiethoxysilane is developed and produced by Evonik Degussa AG. It is an amino silane commonly used as an adhesion promoter or surface modifier between inorganic materials (such as glass, metals, and inorganic fillers) and organic polymers (such as hot solids, thermoplastics, and elastomers).
 
 Dynasylan®1505 3-aminopropylmethyldiethoxysilane is a liquid with an ammonia odor, slightly yellow in color, and soluble in organic solvents such as alcohols, hydrocarbons, or aromatic compounds.
 
 Dynasylan ® 1505 3-aminopropylmethyldiethoxysilane functionality:


 Dynasylan®1505 3-aminopropylmethyldiethoxysilane is a bifunctional compound, in which the ethoxy functional group attached to the silicon atom can hydrolyze in the presence of water to form active silanol and bond with inorganic substrates. And lipophilic amino functional groups can react with suitable polymers (resins).

Silane or siliconized substrates can further react with carbon dioxide in the air to form carbonates or amino esters. Further modification of the product can be achieved through co polymerization reaction with polysiloxane.
