Dynasylan® SIVO 113 SIVO of coating system ®  Sol (Also known as:Silane coupling agent 113,Adhesive 113）Developed and produced by Evonik Evonik Degussa AG, it is used for a new water-based sol gel binder system Dynasylan ® SIVO of SVIO 110 Coating System ®  Hydrophobic additives for sol.

Dynasylan® SVIO 113 SIVO of coating system ®  Sol can provide good weather resistance for sol gel coatings.

SIVO of Dynasylan ® SIVO 113 Coating System ®  Sol properties:

Dynasylan® SIVO 113 SIVO of coating system ®  Sol is a water-based organic functional silane system with hydrophobic properties. It can be compared to Dynasylan at will ®  Mix SIVO 110. The hydrophobic properties of the coating system can be finely adjusted according to the amount added.
 
 Dynasylan® SIVO 113 SIVO of coating system ®  Sols are oligomeric siloxanes containing active silicon hydroxyl groups. Due to its high content of silicon hydroxyl groups, the SIVO of Dynasylan ® SIVO 113 coating system ®  Sols can undergo dehydration condensation with Dynasylan ®  SIVO 110 Coating System SIVO ®  The sol is chemically cross-linked, so that hydrophobic components are organically combined in the resin structure of the sol gel coating.
 
 Dynasylan® SIVO 113 SIVO of coating system ®  Sol is a low viscosity liquid that easily interacts with Dynasylan ®  SIVO 110 Coating System SIVO ®  Sols are miscible. There is no heat release during the blending process. However, in the process of adding other components to the final coating system, attention should still be paid to avoiding local overheating or other accompanying adverse reactions. Therefore, it is recommended to conduct a small pre blending experiment first for observation.

Dynasylan® SIVO 113 SIVO of coating system ®  The sol should be metered into Dynasylan while continuously stirring ®  SIVO 110 Coating System SIVO ®  Sol. The mixing process should start at room temperature.

 Dynasylan® SIVO 113 SIVO of coating system ®  Sol relative to Dynasylan ®  SIVO 110 Coating System SIVO ®  The amount of sol added should not exceed 15 wt.%. Too high concentration may affect the stability of the system (such as flocculation or gel), and may also reduce the cross-linking performance of the system, thus ultimately affecting the mechanical properties of the coating.

 Through Dynasylan ®  SIVO 113 modified Dynasylan ®  The weather resistance of SIVO 110 coating system has been significantly improved. Only using Dynasylan ®  SIVO 110 Coating System SIVO ®  After 500 hours of QUVA radiation, the sol coating showed significant changes on the surface, such as cracking, delamination, or darkening. In contrast, through Dynasylan ®  The SIVO 113 modified coating system has significantly better durability. Even after 1000 hours of QUVA radiation, there was no visible change.
 
 To obtain a weather resistant coating system, the recommended formula is as follows: 85 wt.% Dynasylan ®  SIVO 110+15 wt.% Dynasylan ® SIVO 113.
 
 Due to Dynasylan ®  SIVO 113 Coating System SIVO ®  The sol contains water, so the product must be stored above freezing temperature, and the storage temperature should not exceed 40 ℃. Original unopened Dynasylan ®  The shelf life of SIVO 113 is 6 months.
