Dynasylan ® HYDROSIL 2909 can serve as an adhesion promoter between inorganic materials (glass, minerals, and metals) and organic polymers (thermosetting, thermoplastic, and elastomer), making it suitable for the production of high-performance laminated materials. Can be used for inorganic surface treatment, glass fiber reinforcement, glass and metal coatings, organic material surface modification, and water-based polymer additives.

According to specific applications, the amount of active ingredients added to the product is generally between 0.5% and 5%. The product can be simply diluted with distilled water. The dilution of Dynasylan ® HYDROSIL 2909 reactive organic functional siloxane oligomer aqueous solution is recommended to be carried out at a pH value less than 7, otherwise the stability of the solution will sharply decrease.
When the concentration of the active component in the aqueous solution is 5%, the solution can remain stable for more than 2 weeks under pH conditions below 7. It should be noted that if the pH value is greater than 7, the stability of the solution will sharply decrease. In the formula of silane primer, Dynasylan with a content of 1-2 wt. -% ® HYDROSIL 2909 is sufficient. By pre cleaning and degreasing the substrate, a transparent coating can be obtained.
