Rubber (ethylene based rubber, low phenyl silicone rubber, room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber, ethylene propylene rubber, chloroprene rubber, fluororubber, fluorosilicone rubber, polyethylene, polypropylene, etc.) is used as an adhesion promoter for various metals (carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, nickel, etc.) and fabrics (glass cloth, polyester, nylon, etc.), as well as for the self adhesion of vulcanized silicone rubber. It is used to treat glass fibers to enhance polypropylene, polyethylene, and polycarbonate composite materials, as a high-density polyethylene crosslinking agent, as an initiator for polymers such as styrene and methyl methacrylate, and can also be used as a fiber waterproofing agent, electronic photographic development absorbent, etc.
use:
·Direct mixing method:
Mix 2-3 parts of VTPS ethylene tert butyl peroxysilane toluene solution (calculated as pure) directly into the polymer, and after mixing and rolling into sheets, tightly bond with the adhesive. After encapsulation, heat up to 150 ℃× 40 minutes or 180 ℃× 20 minutes.
·Coating method:
Dilute VTPS (40% toluene solution) with toluene to 5-20%. Polish the metal bonding surface with sandpaper, and then degrease it with solvents (solvents include carbon tetrachloride, trichloroethylene, toluene, acetone, etc., with trichloroethylene being preferred). Apply VTPS brush onto the adhesive surface of the treated object, and then wait for the solvent to evaporate to ensure close contact between the polymer and the surface of the object. Apply pressure and heat to bond, and raise the temperature to 150 ℃× 40 minutes or 180 ℃× 20 minutes. The adhesive can also be soaked in a dilute solution of VTPS ethylene tert butyl peroxysilane toluene solution. Then take it out and let it dry, usually at room temperature or heated to an appropriate temperature.
