The production of silicon free release agents should focus on the following factors:
1. The material and properties of molded products, including the polarity of the substance, melt viscosity, and adhesion to mold materials:
2. Product molding process conditions: processing temperature, film retention time, direction of product detachment from the mold, etc
3. Technical requirements for molded products: processing batch size, product size and workpiece accuracy requirements, surface adhesion and coating requirements for processed products, etc;
4. Product processing mold conditions: mold material, shape and specifications, surface condition of mold working surface, specific requirements for mold release agent coating, etc;
5. Requirements for process performance and usage performance of release agents: limitations on the use and removal process of release agents, working temperature and processing life of release agents, requirements for peel strength of processed products, etc;
Multiple options for release agents
The commonly used silicone free release agents include inorganic, organic, and high polymer types, mainly used for demolding and anti sticking of rubber, plastic, E VI A, printing paste, wire and cable, hot melt adhesive products, and adhesive tape cutting. Release agents are usually divided into powder, semi-solid, and liquid forms. Powder and semi-solid can be applied to the surface of the mold like wax by brush or hand. Liquid can be applied to the surface of the mold using tools such as spray nozzles or brushes to form an isolation film. It is better to spray liquid release agents.
Firstly, we usually choose release agents with good thermal stability, and require that the thermal decomposition temperature of silicon free release agents be higher than the temperature of the molding mold. Otherwise, carbonization and scaling may occur. High end products and those that require secondary processing (such as painting and brushing) should use release agents suitable for secondary processing. To prevent environmental pollution, non flammable mold release agents with low odor and toxicity should be selected.
Secondly, in the selection of release agents, economy is an important factor that cannot be ignored. Poor quality release agents can cause cracks and wrinkles on the surface of the product, affecting its appearance and mold lifespan, and causing environmental pollution. Choosing high-quality spray release agents is expensive, but has high overall economic benefits.
