Release agent is an interface coating applied to the surfaces of two easily bonded objects, making them easy to separate, smooth, and clean. Waterborne release agents are widely used in various die-casting and forging operations, such as glass fiber reinforced plastics, metal forging, forging, polyurethane foam and elastomer, injection molding thermoplastics, vacuum foam plates and extruded profiles. Commonly used are silicone oil, silicone rubber, emulsified silicone oil, and silicone oil. The present invention is a silicone release agent prepared from organosiloxane as raw material, which has the advantages of good heat resistance, moderate surface tension, easy formation of uniform separators, and long release life.

水性脱模剂和油性脱模剂的区别

1. Color change caused by the use of acid sensitive pigments;

2. When using alkaline fillers such as calcium carbonate, the acid releasing agent will react with them, increasing the viscosity of the mixture but not affecting the release effect;

3. If the filler is aluminum hydroxide, the acid releasing agent will not only increase the viscosity of the mixture, but also release water during the curing process, causing problems such as bubbles and cracks.

Usually, the initial dosage of internal mold release agent is 1% of the resin weight, and the effective addition range is 0.75-2% based on the resin weight. Adjustments should be made according to the actual situation.

1. The amount of water-based coating agent for thin-walled simple profiles can be appropriately reduced, such as 0.8% or less.

2. Thick walled or complex shapes require additional additions.

3. In high filler systems, the amount of internal mold release agent should be increased, but if the amount of internal mold release agent is too large, it will delay curing.

4. If the resistance is too high during die casting and the cause cannot be found, it is necessary to increase the amount of release agent appropriately. Attention should be paid to the order of addition during use. Before adding resin additives such as curing agents and fillers, the internal slow-release agent should be added to the resin system and stirred evenly. This will achieve the best release effect.
