Phenylsilane

Phenylsilane is an organic compound composed of phenyl and silane groups. Its chemical formula is C6H5SiH3CH3 or C6H5CH2SiH3CH3. It is a colorless or light purple crystal with a unique aromatic aroma.

Phenylsilane is a common silicone rubber used in the manufacture of automotive parts, electronic components, medical devices, and more. It has good heat resistance, cold resistance, and chemical corrosion resistance, and is therefore widely used in aerospace, automotive manufacturing, electronics, medical devices, and other fields.

The synthesis of phenylsilane is usually obtained by reacting a mixture of styrene and silicate at high temperature. In addition, phenylsilane can also be obtained by reacting silicates with styrene and then neutralizing them by adding amine compounds.
