The fully electronic structure of its inner f-layer makes it closer to the double bond of olefins in terms of energy level and radius, making it more suitable for catalytic effects in the field of silica gel. Scholars have studied other eighth group transition metals and proposed using nickel, cobalt, and rhodium to try, but their reaction efficiency, initiation temperature, and applicability are not as good as metallic platinum.
