Platinum catalyst is a highly active and efficient platinum catalyst that can efficiently catalyze Si Vi and Si-H addition reactions without any side reactions. At the same time, this product also has the advantages of good stability and strong anti toxicity, which effectively avoids the generation of black substances during storage or use, and reduces the impact of nitrogen-containing and sulfur-containing substances.

影响铂金催化剂活性的主要因素

The main factors affecting the activity of platinum catalysts are as follows:

1. Platinum valence state: Zero valent platinum is the most reactive; Sometimes there is a small amount of Pt2 present+

2. The presence or absence of oxygen: Oxygen can accelerate the hydrosilylation reaction, and from the mechanism of hydrosilylation reaction, it can be known that oxygen is a promoter.

3. The efficacy of inhibitors and retarders depends on the production needs, and inhibitors or retarders are used to inhibit or delay the progress of the hydrosilylation reaction. Organic peroxides, methyl isobutyl alcohol compounds, other low boiling acetylene alcohols, tetravinyltetramethylcyclotetrasiloxane, nitrile compounds, etc. are generally used.

 4. The dosage of inhibitors or retarders is generally 1-5% of the liquid silicone rubber. To slow down or stop the platinum sulfide process, add 1-3 drops of inhibitor to 100g of polymer to achieve the goal. Common inhibitors and retardants include vinylsiloxane, ethynyl alcohol, and dimethyl fumarate. But the use of vinyl methyl cyclic siloxane is the most convenient. This type of cyclic compound is odorless, tasteless, stable in performance, and easy to store.
